Welcome to the website for Christopher J Edwards, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. Dr. Christopher Edwards graduated from the University of Tasmania Medical School in 1975. He then spent ten years training in Tasmania, Sydney and overseas to become a Plastic Surgeon. This included postgraduate study at the internationally renowned Canniesburn Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Hospital in Glasgow, Scotland. Considerable experience was obtained in all aspects of reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, in particular head and neck reconstruction, microsurgery and breast reconstruction. Christopher Edwards established his practice in 1986 and concentrates on cosmetic surgery, breast reconstruction and general reconstructive plastic surgery. He maintains expertise within the field by frequently attending national and international conferences and courses. From 2003 to 2006 Christopher served as Councilor and then President of the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
